The Victorian State Government has undertaken a review of the private security industry, and have released an Issues Paper for industry consultation. The review aims to increase security standards and professionalism, which are goals shared by the ASMF. We encourage professionals in the security sector to read the Issues paper, and provide input and opinion where relevant.
Broader input from across the sector will surely lead to a better understanding of the issues facing this ever-changing sector, and allow more robust options to be considered by our law makers/regulators. The paper is available for public comment until July 27, 2020. https://lnkd.in/gP8GJ79
